The idea for this recipe book was born in 2008 in Vienna, when I first starting baking more than just the three standard kinds of Christmas cookies.
Each following autumn I was working on this book, but it took until 2016 till I managed to get both the recipes and the photos just right and like I wanted them.
Since 2020 the recipes are now also available as a web site.

Additionally: - chocolate, mocha beans or similar for the filling
Combine all ingredients and kneed by hand. Shape the dough into small balls of 7 gram and fill the cookies for example with a chocolate mocha bean. Bake for about 10 minutes at 350°F (180°C). Once you can see small cracks on top, they’re ready.
Let them cool and decorate with a chocolate grid if desired. I like using a variety of fillings and dress the cookies with both white and dark chocolate.
Tip: Instead of corn starch you can also use potato starch. Note that with potato starch, the cookies will keep their original shape in the oven.
